About the Course

Working conditions and job opportunities: You will work:
• Most often indoors, but sometimes also outdoors;
• Individually, although in larger institutions medical caregivers may work in teams;
• In direct contact with people;
• In shifts; work is done both during the day and at night, including on days off. The working hours of a caregiver typically range between 8 and 12 hours per day;
• Often wearing protective clothing;
• Abroad, provided that appropriate conditions are met.
You can work, among other places:
• In hospitals;
• In healthcare facilities;
• In non-public healthcare teams, homes, and social assistance centers;
• In foundations and associations working for sick and dependent individuals;
• In hospices and sanatoriums;
• In patients' homes.
