About the Course
In BS Transport and Forwarding Logistics, students learn about various modes of transportation, including road, rail, air, and sea, and how to effectively coordinate the movement of goods across domestic and international borders. They study topics such as freight forwarding procedures, customs regulations, import-export documentation, and transportation planning and optimization.
Additionally, students gain insight into the role of technology in logistics and transportation, including transportation management systems (TMS) and electronic data interchange (EDI). The program also covers principles of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations to provide a comprehensive understanding of the entire logistics process.
The goal of BS Transport and Forwarding Logistics is to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to manage and streamline the flow of goods through the transportation and forwarding stages of the supply chain. Graduates may pursue careers in freight forwarding companies, transportation companies, logistics firms, import-export businesses, and global trade organizations.
