Dear future host family,

First of all I would like to thank you that you take the time to read my letter. With this letter I would like to bring you closer to my life. I will try as best as possible to describe my life here, my wishes and dreams, my friends and family and of course myself.

My name is Jomaica M. bulaybulay . I am 22 years old. I currently live in Loboc, Bohol, Philippines. I graduated ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM at Loboc Learning Center for excellence.
I come from a family of 6; My mother Melani who is an overseas Filipino worker in Saudi Arabia. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. My brother Jovanie is 23 years old who is in Cebu working and have a family of his own. My sisters Jomela (27), Jovelyn (26), Joseph (16)Klent (14)..

For giving you a first impression of me I want to start telling you something about me and my personality:

I would describe me as a reliable, friendly, positive and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know new countries and people.

I’m persuaded of being able to be a good Au-Pair, because I’ve always been loving children and I had the chance to gain experiences with children in lots of different scopes. I have looked after children in ages between 3 months old - 3 years old. I organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: We played games, ate together, sang songs, did handicrafts, read out for the kids and played in the big garden every day. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.I can also do household chores and groceries .

To go abroad as an Au-Pair has been a wish of mine for several years now. Moreover, the year as an Au-Pair abroad also is some kind of a journey to find myself.

Finally responsible for myself, in fact independent from the people, who mean a lot to me but who are in a way also restricting me, I want to discover the needs I have and who I really am.
